Selection process
There are five steps for the final selection of West Bengal police Recruitment Board to select for the post of Constable & Lady constable for Kolkata Police. The detail of the all the steps is discussed below.
- West Bengal Police Constable & Lady constable Recruitment preliminary offline written exam: West Bengal police Recruitment Board is going to conduct a preliminary objective type MCQ based exam in offline, there will 100 no of questions fully objective type based on General awareness & General knowledge, Reasoning & Elementary Mathematics of 10th standard.
- West Bengal Police Constable & Lady constable Recruitment Physical Measurement Test (PMT):Those candidate who has been passed the preliminary exam will call for the Field test known as Physical measurement Test. The minimum physical measurement required for the candidate is given below

3.West Bengal Police Constable & Lady constable Recruitment Physical Efficiency Test(PET):Only the selected candidates of PMT will be allowed for the PET test, PET is nothing but a desired field test to check the physical capability of the candidate in tough condition.

This exam will be also MCQ basis, the exam center will be within West Bengal nearer to your zone.
5.The last sage of the selection of the West Bengal Police Constable & Lady constable Recruitment exam is personal Interview. The candidate who have passed all the stage will eligible for the personal interview test of 15 marks.
