West Bengal Government has been publish the Laboratory Assistant Notification in 2020. Already 2 years running but the examination not happened till 27-01-22.
WB PSC already conducted some examination like WBPSC Clerk , Assistant Engg, ITI Workshop Instructor, Polytechnic Workshop Instructor, WBCS etc exam in between the year 2020 – 2021. But there are no update regarding the lab assistant exam.
Starting date of Application of WBPS Laboratory Assistant recruitment was 10th January, 2020 and the closing date was 30th January, 2022. After the completed of application, COVID 19 virus attacked us that is why the whole recruitment system was effected due to CORONA viral flue. So, WBPSC Lab Asst. exam was affect.
The new variant Omicrom also attacked last of 2021. So further, the exam affect. At the present situation, Exam Date of WB PSC Laboratory Assistant is not fixed, it is confusing matter now

WB PSC Lab Assistant Syllabus
Scheme of Examination: Common PST for all the Trades.
Preliminary Screening Test will be objective type (MCQ) in a different series, viz., A, B, C & D.
- Number of questions: 1OO, each carrying 1 mark.
- Full marks: 1OO.
- Duration: t hour 3O minutes.
There will be negative marking for each wrong answer as per norms (1/3’d of the marks for each wrong answer).
