RRB ALP Selection Procedure
RRB select Assistant Loco Pilot through CBT 1, CBT 2, Psychometric Test / Aptitude Test, Medical Fitness Test and Merit.
First Stage CBT ALP Recruitment
First of all, Centralized common Computer Based Test will be conduct for primary selection of applying candidates all over India. It is known as CBT 1. Approximately 15 times candidates will be qualified of total vacancy in CBT 1. They can selected for CBT 2.
The minimum marks to qualify in the First Stage CBT is below-

Second Stage CBT ALP Recruitment
After getting the selection in CBT 1 they must have to qualify the Computer Based Test (CBT) 2. But before that, Candidate have to choose the RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) in which they can apply.
After choosing of RRB, a merit list will be publish in board wise. If candidate have shortlisted in board wise merit list then they can selected for CBT 2.
CBT 2 exam will organized in two part i.e. Part A and Part B. In CBT 2 Part A is general part exam and CBT 2 Part B is Technical Part exam. It is mandatory to qualify ALP Part B Technical Exam by getting at least 35% marks for passed CBT 2. If you are not qualify in Part B then RRB will not allow you for next step, even if you get 100% marks in Part A.

RRB ALP Psychometric Test
Psycho Test RRB ALP is conducted to check your brain power. It is one of the hardest step in Full RRB ALP Selection Process.
After completed of CBT 2 exam, 8 times of respected board vacancy will be qualified candidates are selected for Psycho Test. A merit list will be publish, RRB ALP Zone wise candidates are selected for rrb ALP.
RRB ALP Exam Syllabus 2022 – 2023
Questions pattern of CBT 1 and CBT 2 Part A is general types. Part B of ALP CBT 2 questions pattern is Technical type. All the questions of all stage exam will be multiple choice question (MCQ) and each question is carry 1 marks for right answer except psychometric test. It will be fully online mode. Application Fee of RRB Asstt. Loco Pilot Exam 2022 – 2023
Assistant Loco Pilot Application Fee for 2022 is Rs. 500 for UR and Rs. 250 for SC/ST category candidates. But is refundable for all. Refundable RRB ALP Fee for UR/OBC is Rs. 400 and Refundable Fee for SC/ST is Rs. 250.
