Science City Lucknow About Us
Lucknow Science City is one of the famous Science Center in India which is established on 1989 in Uttar Pradesh as The Regional Science Center. It is upgraded from Regional Science Center to Regional Science City Lucknow on 21st September, 2007 by the National Council of Science Museum (NCSM) under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Science City of Lucknow Uttar Pradesh is the satellite unit of National Science Center, Delhi (NSC Delhi). It is another popular Science Center out off 27 Science Center in India.
It is made for enjoyment purpose only when it was organized but after the upgradation it redeveloped & redesigned for not only enjoyment but also for learning. of science. After the the overtaken by Government of India, now it is the hub of creative science education and awareness of science for youth students as well as general public.

SCIMAX
It is about the history of Greece. The tag line of this show is “Greece – The Secrets of Past”. In this programme discuss about the ancient forebear of Greece and their creation i.e. how to create the society. Through this show you get the idea of the secret past of Greece i.e. their idea and inventions, achievements and system of their daily life.
3D Show
Any 3D show is popular today life. But if this is prehistoric then it would be awesome. Yes, in 3D Shows of Science City Locknow, UP basically based on trillions years ago memories, life style. It is another attractive & unique event of this institute. Quality of this show is very high, clear and most realistic.
Science Exhibitions
Mobile Science Exhibition is one the most attractive show of this institute. The main object of this exhibitions is popularized science and make the awareness about the current science & technology development in the our world. It is especially for rural people who never seen the cities.
Beside that, there are classroom facilities in which students can learn through demonstration by kits, telescope and projector with the help of great teachers. Approximately 60 – 70 students can seat at a time in this classroom.
Film Show
Generally here shown universe, Space, Soil, Wild Life, Health, Electronics. Computer, Environment, science etc based film in here to influence youth creative mind.
Taramandal Show
Taramandal is the most interesting and popular show in Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Science City. It is a like a mini planetarium. The outer look as well as inner look is like a dome. Approximately 30 visitors can visit this show at a time together. Total time of this show is 30 minutes.
Sky Observation
Sky Observation is second most popular programme of UP Regional Science Center. It shows about the universe i.e. star, planets, Satellite, earth & all the things on the earth, todays research, development, technologies, tools/instruments etc. The main object of this show is to aware astronomical topics, latest discovery, theories and many more to the youth students as well as public.
