Northern India Science Fair (NISF)
The Centre organized Northern India Science Fair in collaboration with SCERT and SIE of northern states from 18h to 20th January 2010. 66 projects in individual, team and teaching aid category were displayed in this fair. Dr. W. Selvamurthy, Distinguished Scientist, Chief Controller, R& D (Life Science) DRDO, New Delhi inaugurated the fair on 18th January 2010. Prof. M G K Menon, Padmavibushan, former Chairman, ISRO and presently advisor, ISRO was the chief guest during valediction function and gave away prizes to the winners of the fair on 20th January 2010. More than 5000 students and teachers visited the fair during this period.
